The National Battlefield Coin Show™
“Coin shows made into a family adventure!”
Gettysburg, PA - September 20 & 21, 2014
Eisenhower Hotel and Event Complex

The Inaugural National Battlefield Coin Show™ was held on September 20th and 21st,
2014 with a huge success!  Saturday saw a total of 1006 collectors register, or present
direct mail cards, to enter the show.   This meant sales for dealers, and most were
overjoyed with their sales.

Opening remarks were made by Michael Dixon, President and CEO of Hobbies
Unlimited, LLC, the parent company of Battlefield Coin Shows™.  Following the opening
remarks, Abraham Lincoln recited the Gettysburg Address, Jessica Gillott
sang God Bless the USA and Pastor Pete Gillott provided the invocation.  The doors
opened and the show began.  One dealer said:  "Whenever the doors opened, it was
like the doors to the mall opening on black Friday; it never stopped!" Another said his
retail sales were better than in Baltimore, but his dealer to dealer was lower.  He
attributed this to the high collector turnout.
This picture was taken around
1pm on Saturday.  Dealers
Pat Vetter of BJ Coins can be

shirt with Chip Jednorski to
